These are the general rules of this forum. They must be read by new members, and obeyed at all times. These are subject to changes without warning, so please regularly check for updates. Thank you.
OOC RULES- Keep swearing to a minimum OOC. Please do not try to avoid the censor using '.' and '*', etc. I will consider that worse than actually swearing.
- Be respectful towards all members. Everyone deserves to be treated fairly and not be harassed for their views or anything else. If you have a problem with a member, message a staff member.
- Keep IC arguments between the equines, not between the players. When a character insults your character, challenges, or does anything else it is not a OOC issue.
- What a staff members says goes. If you have a problem with their decision, contact an admin who is not involved and tell them about it, including screenshots/proof if possible. Any action taken by an admin will be final. There are no appeals.
- Try not to discuss topics that may get out of hand. If they do, contact a staff member to close or delete the topic. Anybody who harasses or insults another person will have action taken against them.
- Please post with coherent English, proper spelling and correct grammar. Everyone makes mistakes, it's only human, but there are spell checkers for a reason. This goes for IC and OCC.
- Likewise, keep the chatspeak to a minimum. There should be NONE in character whatsoever. 'LOL', 'BRB', and other common abbreviations are allowed in the chatbox and in the OOC boards.
- Keep all images to a minimum to help with loading and make sure they're all 500 px or under in width (otherwise they could break the forum.)
- Try to keep signatures small and discrete as to decrease loading times and keep the main focus where it should be -- on your posts.
- Please create only one account and have all your characters on that account. It makes it easier for staff members.
IC RULES- There is a minimum posting size of only ONE HUNDRED WORDS. I'd be much happier if you post longer ones, but remember quality over quantity.
- There is liquid time in EYW, but there are some limitations. No more than three threads at once for one character. You can not be in a battle as well as several other posts. You must make sure that you have enough time to reply to all threads.
- Please post or alert those you are rping with if you cannot post in a thread for a long time for whatever reason. If you are also leaving the boards for a while, post in the absence board.
- Any gender of horse may claim a land. All genders are considered equal. Mares are not below stallions, and neither are stallions below mares.
- Yes, gay, bi and straight horses are all accepted, however please do not make it the only part of your character. If there are too many gay/bi horses I will place a ban on them. The answer to the joining question is Charlie.
- You are allowed a max of ten characters to start out with. If you wish to join an eleventh, do not post it in the creation board. Instead, message a staff member and ask if you can create an eleventh character. We will check you are active with all of your present characters before giving approval.
- If you have ten characters and your mare gives birth, you may keep the foal however you may not create any other horses. But if you have many foals at once, I'd heavily suggest offering them to other players to roleplay or for adoption.
- All horse applications MUST be approved/accepted before you can role-play them. Please refrain from creating plots or character logs with yet-to-be accepted characters. You may be denied.
